Just outside Teguise there is a suburb called Playa Bastian with a top class gym run by qualified trainer Dave Payne, while on holiday I went to visit the gym with ex Coventry boxer Neville Fivey, Nev now lives in Lanzarote and runs a sports bar in Teguise with his partner Rob the bar is filled with Coventry City flags shirts pictures and boxing memorabilia if you are ever there the lads will give you a great welcome. Maggie Jak and me have been over twice this year and the lads always look after us this photo was taken at ten in the morning after a real heavy night it took me all my time to get to the gym so I just let Nev do the hard stuff.

Dave Payne runs a great gym and is a qualified trainer in the UK United States and Spain he trains 14 young amateur lads and says he has some promising lads coming through the gym is immaculate and he throws out a warm welcome to any of the Coventry lads who come over on holiday to use his gym and if you do come over dont forget to visit SHOOTERS BAR where Rob and Nev will look after you.
