Jimmy Vincent who will be celebrating his 36th birthday this week will be having his long awaited re match against David Barnes on the 15th July at the Excel Arena London, Docklands it is unbelievable that he has had to wait almost two years to the day to put the record straight after the way he was robbed at the Goresbrook Leisure Centre 17/07 2003 by referee John Keene. I know Jimmy always trains hard and is in Peak condition when he fights let us hope that the 19 months he has been inactive will not affect him in any way.  Although it is stated Barnes must fight Jimmy next Barnes wanted a voluntary defence against Bradley Pryce which will not happen  Barnes apparently has been matched against Joshua Okine for the  Commonwealth (British Empire) Welterweight Title 2005-06-04 M.E.N. Arena, Manchester, England if this fight comes of let us hope there is no draw backs that will effect Jimmy's title shot. Jimmy's record W 21 (9 ko's)   L 18  D 2  Total 41 Barnes record W 17 (9 ko's)  L 0  D 1  Total 18. As we all expected David Barnes has been stripped of his British title and will no longer have to endure another beating by the ferocious warrior like Jimmy Vincent.  Jimmy has now been matched against Michael Jennings the 27 year old from Chorley who is unbeaten in 26 bouts. Any boxer who can get 26 straight wins must be taken seriously, he is rated 5th in the UK by seconds-out and number 1 by box-records I have put his full record up so you can judge for yourself.
